Enable Camera in Your Browser

Google Chrome

  1. Click the lock icon 🔒 in the address bar
  2. Find Camera and Microphone
  3. Set both to "Allow"
  4. Reload the page

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the lock icon 🔒 in the address bar
  2. Click "Permissions for this site"
  3. Set Camera & Microphone to "Allow"
  4. Reload the page

Device-Specific Instructions

Windows — Camera Privacy Settings

  1. Press Win + I to open Settings
  2. Go to Privacy & Security → Camera
  3. Make sure "Camera access" is turned On
  4. Scroll down — make sure your browser (Chrome / Edge) is toggled On
  5. Close & reopen the browser, then reload the exam page

macOS — Camera & Screen Recording Permissions

  1. Open System Settings (Apple menu → System Settings)
  2. Go to Privacy & Security → Camera
  3. Check the box next to Google Chrome (or your browser)
  4. For screen-sharing proctoring: go to Privacy & Security → Screen Recording and enable your browser
  5. Completely quit the browser (Cmd + Q) and reopen it

Android Phone — Chrome Camera Permissions

  1. Open your phone's Settings app
  2. Go to Apps (or Applications)
  3. Find and tap Google Chrome
  4. Tap Permissions
  5. Tap Camera and select "Allow"
  6. Also set Microphone to "Allow"
  7. Go back to the exam page and reload

iPhone — Known Limitations

  1. Open Settings → scroll to Safari (or Chrome)
  2. Tap Camera and set to "Allow"
  3. Also allow Microphone
⚠ Important: Due to iPhone security restrictions, camera permissions may be blocked or limited during exams. We strongly recommend using an Android phone or a laptop/desktop instead.
